IGNITING IMPACT: DESIGNING A GLOBAL EVENT EXPERIENCE FOR MOBILE APP MARKETERS
While working in-house at Adjust, a global leader in mobile marketing analytics, I led the design of Adjust Ignite, a global event series aimed at bringing together mobile marketers to explore the latest trends in technology and innovation. The challenge was creating a unique identity for the Ignite event series that both connected to Adjust's established brand and captured the forward-thinking, innovative spirit of the event.
INFUSING ADJUST’S BRAND DNA
To ensure Ignite stayed closely connected to Adjust’s established core brand identity, we strategically drew inspiration from Adjust’s iconic avatar 'A' logo. This shape was deconstructed and used as a motif throughout the branding, appearing in various forms across marketing materials and event visuals. The flexible pattern created with this avatar added a playful and modern touch, reinforcing the connection to the parent brand while giving Ignite its own unique identity
CONNECTING THE DIGITAL DOTS
The logo for Adjust Ignite played a crucial role in establishing the brand’s innovative, tech-driven identity. The lowercase "i" in Ignite featured rounded, app-inspired dots that directly referenced mobile technology. These versatile shapes echoed the design language of mobile apps, symbolising both the digital world and the spirit of innovation at the core of the event. These simple rounded corners became a prominent feature of the visual language, carrying through the design to create a cohesive, adaptable system that worked seamlessly across a wide range of platforms and marketing materials.
BUILDING A WORLD-READY BRAND
The Ignite branding needed to resonate globally, so the design system was crafted for flexibility, easily adapting to various cultural contexts and languages. By using Adjust’s house fonts, we ensured a strong brand connection, maintaining consistency with Adjust’s visual identity.
The vibrant colour palette, inspired by Adjust’s core hues, captured the event’s energy and worked seamlessly across digital and physical spaces, ensuring impactful and consistent branding.
The design system proved adaptable in diverse markets, from tailoring content for WeChat to reimagining merchandise for different cultures, while keeping Ignite’s core identity intact for a unified global experience.

The Ignite branding enhanced the event experience by aligning with its innovative spirit and creating a cohesive environment for attendees. While Ignite stood as its own brand, we carefully intertwined Adjust’s established identity to reinforce its leadership in mobile marketing. The design was crafted with longevity and flexibility in mind, ensuring a strong core identity for Ignite that could evolve year after year. This approach allowed the brand to stay fresh and relevant, while maintaining a consistent connection to Adjust’s values and expertise. Ignite resonated with global audiences, leaving a lasting impression and further solidifying Adjust’s leadership in the industry.
